On behalf of our health sector client we seek an experienced and skilled Occupational Health and Safety advisor to join the team on a fixed term contract for an initial six month period with the potential for it to extend to 12 months.
This is a big role and you will have extensive experience in a similar role, ideally in the public sector or government previously.
In partnership with the business managers your role will include
* Leading culture and change regarding H&S across the brand
* Leading, monitoring and supporting H&S compliance and regulatory functions
* Coach, mentor and develop staff across various levels to integrate H&S across all facts of work
* Support change across H&S by deloping and embedding fit for purpose and best practice H&S processes and systems

This role will offers variety and challenges every day and to be successful you will ideally have the following skills and attributes:
* A relevant qualification and 5-10 years experience in leading and managing H&S initiatives either independently or as part of a team
* Demonstrated evidence of professional development and maintenance of professional standards (membership of NZISM)
* Superior relationship building and communication skills
Previous experience working in the health sector is desirable along with experience in making independent financial decisions.

Salary is dependent on skills and experience range $75-$100k. You must have a clean MOJ and be able to pass pre employment drug testing to be considered for this role.
