Class 2 Metro Driver
On behalf of our well respected client, Action Personnel is looking for an honest, reliable, team-focused person to fill a vital role of ensuring safe delivery of goods throughout the Nelson metro (and wider area, as required). Presentation is important, both of truck and in dealings with valued customers. Whilst this starts as a full time temporary role, for the right candidate this will become permanent work. Pay rate is $25 per hour.
You will be required to:
• Load and unload trucks and containers
• Pack, wrap and deliver goods
• Check quality and quantities prior to uplifting
• Complete records and logs
• Tidy and sweep the warehouse as required
• Regular truck maintenance – oil, water, tyre pressure etc
Skills and Qualifications
• Full Class 2 New Zealand Drivers Licence
• Forklift (F) Endorsement is preferred with current OSH certificate
• Dangerous Goods Endorsement with handling experience
• Excellent literacy, time management and customer service skills
