On behalf of our well respected Whanganui client we seek a factory manager who has excellent people management skills to manage a small team (10) within the factory, but who is also capable of travelling when required to assist with installation of products - you can anticipate being away 2-3 nights a month.
You will have responsibilities around production scheduling along with ensuring timely completion of orders and installations. Ideally you will be a tradesperson who is not scared to be hands on and take ownership for your role within the company or an experienced production/factory manager who is handy on the tools. A full class 1 NZ drivers license is essential, a full class 2 would be very advantageous. Previous factory management experience is not essential - we are looking for some one with the below skills:

A full NZ drivers license
Conviction and drug free
Able to travel 2-3 nights a month
Hours of work are Monday-Friday 8am - 5pm.
