Administrative Assistant

Location: Palmerston North, Manawatū-Whanganui

We are seeking an Accounts Administrator for a busy Panel & Paint shop.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administration professional to join our dynamic team in the automotive industry. The role will commence mid January for the right candidate.
This is a temp to perm role for the right candidate.
In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining efficient office operations and supporting the team to ensure that all administrative tasks are executed smoothly. You will be the backbone of our organization, providing essential support and ensuring that our office environment runs effectively. Your responsibilities will include managing schedules, organizing meetings, and maintaining records, while also coordinating with suppliers and customers to facilitate smooth operations. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced automotive environment. As our Administration professional, you will contribute to enhanced productivity and help us deliver outstanding service to our clients while promoting a culture of collaboration and efficiency within the organization. Responsibilities
Manage office operations and administrative tasks to ensure smooth workflow.
Coordinate schedules, appointments, and meetings for team members.
Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation.
Handle communication with suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders efficiently.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations during all administrative activities.
Computer savvy and able to learn new systems with ease.

Requirements
Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within the automotive industry.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of interacting professionally with diverse teams and clients.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software applications.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Excellent customer service skills.
Can pass a drug test and no to minimal convictions.

Renumeration for this role will be dependent on skills & experience.
