On behalf of our well respected Lower Hutt client we are seeking pick packers for their very busy distribution site. It's a busy role with order picking being done in the public eye so customer service and contact will also be part of the role - advising and directing customers and providing a smiling face.
Your day will be filled picking orders for dispatch to customers which includes fresh, dry goods and frozen items. This company prides itself on paying living wage so your start rate will be $23.65 + holiday pay. You will be paid a $2.00 an hour allowance for any hours worked in the freezer and an extra 10% on your base rate for any hours over 40 worked each pay week. This is an excellent opportunity for hard working and reliable people to join this team initially on temporary assignment with full time hours but with the very real opportunity to become permanent members of this team. Previous experience in warehouse or distribution is advantageous but not essential - it's going to be about reliability, attitude and work ethic.
Hours of work :
We have Mon-Fri shifts available 830am-5pm and Sun-Thurs shifts available 830am-5pm.
PPE will be provided and for the right people this opportunity will become a permanent full time role.
