Administration Manager

Location: Palmerston North, Manawatu-Wanganui

On behalf of our well-respected Palmerston North based client, we seek an experienced administration manager full time Mon-Fri for a varied and interesting role with an organisation who is doing great things for their community.
Our ideal candidate will have strong experience with administration/office management (5+ years) and will have no issue with completing general administration support duties. They will also have management experience across a range of business and administration areas, with a strong focus on finance.

Duties will include but are not limited to,
• Developing and overseeing budges.
• Liaising with external funding sources and organisations on a regular basis
• Managing staff payroll to ensure timeliness and accuracy.
• Sourcing resources in a cost-effective manner to ensure best use of trust funds
• Managing insurances
• Preparing for audits
• Coordinating board reports and annual plans for the board to sign off on
• Reviewing and updating processes and procedures as required
• Carrying out staff performance reviews
• Developing and implementing staff health and safety policies

You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal as well as good attention to detail. You will be comfortable supporting and leading a professional team and have a passion for providing high quality service.
