On behalf of our well respected client who work in the HVAC industry we seek an experienced NZ Operations Manager to take on this exciting opportunity based in South Auckland but with nationwide responsibility.
Your role will be to assist the General Manager in the management of growth, profitability, customer
satisfaction and works associated with maintenance, repairs, and equipment service projects. This
includes technical support, planning, directing, quoting and supervision of the team.
Your duties will include :
*Developing and building on the customer base by analysing new and existing customers relevant to the NZ
region.
*Providing sales support to Customers and GM
Assist with the review of service report sheets, water treatment and oil analysis reports, escalate
findings as required
*Prepare quotations and tender documents to grow the business.
*Aid in the quotation process
*Take full responsibility of operational duties when GM is on annual leave or otherwise unable to
attend to work
*Report to GM on any site issues (maintenance, plant condition etc.) Complete service customer
reports
*Provide technical support for portfolio related issues that arise on a daily basis.

To be successful in this role you will have previous experience and technical knowledge in an HVAC or applied equipment field along with the following skills and attributes:
*Strong customer service ethic
*Proven ability to form positive working relationships within a team, with subordinates and with
management
*Ability to multi-task, to assess the difference between the urgent and the important tasks and to
schedule work accordingly
*Ability to handle a wide range of personalities with equal ability
Attention to detail
*High regard for established systems and processes
*Confident in approaching customers for new business
*Ability to work in a team environment
You must have a full NZ drivers license and be conviction and drug free to be considered for this role.
Ideally you will also have a Certificate in Management and relevant trade qualification.
