MACHINE SETTER - TECHNICAL

Our client is a family owned and run company with a unique range of machines with specific capabilities. They find the solution, create and supply for large scale companies right thought to smaller boutique operations.
This role involves:
• Machine settings and breakdown for each production run
• Regular maintenance of all machines
• The ability to calmly trouble shoot when required
• Machine operation when required to cover staff breaks, illness
• QA assessments prior to, during and at end of each production run
• Continued training in trouble shooting
• Clear communication with other teams
• High knowledge and standard of Health and Safety practices
• Accurate record keeping and staff training
• ISO audits and assessments
To be considered for this role you will possess the following qualifications and attributes:
• HACCP and or ISO9001 tickets
• Excellent attitude towards Health and Safety initiatives
• Technical aptitude and genuine interest in the production industry going forward
• Min 3 years previous Machine Operator and Setter experience in Food Standard Industry
• Clear and accurate reporting skills
• The desire to upskill, learn and teach on the job
• History of reliability and attendance
• An interest in recycling and waste management practices
• Team player who will fit into our culture and family values in the work place
Generally, the hours of work will be Monday to Friday 7.30 to 4pm onsite in Glen Innes with easy access to parking and a 15 min walk to train station.
